FarrowComfort - Farrowing Pen for Loose Sows
Better animal welfare and overall productivity

Sow Trough and Piglet Nest are close to the aisle

FarrowComfort is a farrowing pen designed for loose sows, where both the sow trough and piglet nest are located near the aisle, making it easy to access both the sow and the piglets. The pen is spacious and comfortable, which is important for the sow's well-being and facilitates the handling of the animals.

The design includes adjustable farrowing wings which allow adaptation to the individual sow, maximizing safety and comfort. The door in the pen is positioned so that it can be easily opened to both sides or removed completely, giving the sow easy access.

A key aspect of FarrowComfort is the easy observation from the aisle, especially with a lowered area at the sow's rear, which makes it easy to see if the sow needs birthing assistance.
