Mixing tanks for liquid feeding in pig barns
High precision and fast distribution at minimum costs
10% lower feed consumption
with the LiqMix mixing tank
ACO FUNKI offers residual-free liquid feeding system of a high quality. Advanced technology ensures an efficient investment. The main benefits of liquid feeding are fresh feed and good overview. Similarly, it is possible to use by-products from the food industry, as well as to manage feed allocation at the end of the pigs growth period.
The liquid feeding is especially cost effective for finishers, because feed costs increase significantly. The liquid feed is easy for pigs to consume - especially for piglets. Good feed intake is a prerequisite for growth accelerating, so that the pigs reach slaughter weight in less time.
Benefits of the LiqMix tank for liquid feeding:
- Higher feed intake and growth
- Lactic acid bacteria improve gastrointestinal health
- Lower feed costs
- Automatic regulation of feed allocation
- Reduced risk of salmonella and lower incidence of coliform bacteria
- Better feed utilization - savings equivalent to 20 kg of feed per fattening pig
- Feed consumption up to 10% lower
- An increase in daily growth of up to 6%
- Reaches slaughter weight in a shorter time
Stainless steel mixing tank
For optimal hygiene
The bottom of the tank is designed to have the lowest possible residual amount, approximately ten liters, to optimize the use of feed for the animals. It is prepared from the factory for multiple cleaning options and feed entry options, meaning installation is straightforward.
All service and maintenance can be carried out from outside, contributing to a better working environment and increased safety for service employees.
Modular construction
Funki Diamant Mixing tank dimensions
The modular construction enables four sizes and easy installation in existing buildings (55 cm x 110 cm). It also reduces transport costs, as flat-pack shipping has a smaller environmental footprint.
Agitation principle
This means that the mixing wheels create a downflow in the center of the tank. The mixing wheels' design requires the least amount of energy.
The tank's hexagonal construction not only makes it very strong but also adds anti-rotation to the mixing principle due to its shape. Three load cells are balanced in relation to the mixer's direction of rotation for optimal weighing precision.
